This Hub was made in partnership with the Library of Congress’ Teaching with Primary Sources Grant.     What is Inquiry?

    A learning process that engages students by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level questioning. It is an approach to learning that encourages students to engage in problem-solving and experiential learning

    What is a Primary Source?

    A first-hand, original account, record, or evidence about a person, place, object, or an event

    What is a Secondary Source?

    Works that analyze, assess or interpret an historical event, era, or phenomenon, generally utilizing primary sources to do so
