Apply for up to $5,000 in grant funding to assist in the preservation and maintenance of a one-room or two-room country school in Iowa. In addition to preservation efforts, grant funds may be used for historical interpretation or educational activities relating to the school. Priority is given to projects that include an educational component.

Applications for the Country School Grant Program are due April 28, 2017.
Manage Your Grant
- For projects awarded in 2016 (FY17) and after, access and complete your Final Report and Payment Form online.
- For projects awarded in 2012-2015 (FY13 - FY16), complete your claim and final report form via Iowa Grants. Use the instructions provided to help start your claim.
