Enjoy the magic of the movies and explore Iowa’s connections to Hollywood when you warm up your winter break at the State Historical Museum of Iowa. Each movie shown during winter break features the talents of Iowans and a fun-filled activity while our 6,400 square-foot “Hollywood in the Heartland” exhibition shows how Iowa and Iowans have been portrayed in films and those who made an impression on-screen and behind the scenes.
