Iowa Stories is a State Historical Society of Iowa premier learning showcase free and open to the public. Since 2007, over 70 historians and scholars have shared their knowledge on a wide array of Iowa topics. Each presentation is approximately one hour and most of the presenters relied heavily upon primary and secondary sources contained within the State Historical Society of Iowa collections. We thank all the presenters here for allowing us to share their presentations in this online library. And Iowa City Channel 4 public access cable for their long-standing partnership and commitment to record and provide accessibility to Iowa’s stories.
