Join Kathryn Hund, manager of Cedar Rock State Park, and Rodney B. Dieser, professor of recreation, tourism, and nonprofit leadership at the University of Northern Iowa, to learn the history of the Walter House. Commissioned in 1945 and completed in 1950, the house was the first Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian house built in Iowa and one of only 25 buildings worldwide that displays Wright’s red signature block.
