Join Mila Kaut, a Ph.D. student at Northwestern University and co-organizer of the Iowa Colored Conventions Project, to learn how Black women's practices of institutional citizenship in African Methodist Episcopal (AME) churches and the Iowa State Bystander shaped the priorities and possibilities of Black activism in Iowa.
