Join 80/35, DMMC, Little Village Magazine, and Hoyt Sherman Place for the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) 2023 Festival, taking place April 15 at Hoyt Sherman Place!
Started in 2006, The purpose of GDP is to shine a light on the wealth of local talent in Iowa and further develop local audiences for local musicians. In addition, GDP helps to further goals from the Music Economy Assessment and Strategy Report produced by DMMC, including supporting genre and demographic diversity on stage and paying local artists fair wages for their performance.
The festival’s presenting sponsor for 2023 is Big Grove Brewery, with additional support coming from Music League and Bravo Greater Des Moines. Additional pre- and post-parties at neighboring venues to be announced.
