Celebrate women in Iowa folk music on April 8 at XBK in Des Moines with a triple billing of women-led Iowa folk bands. Abbie & the Sawyers and The Night Lights will each be releasing albums, and will be joined by Awful Purdies from Iowa City. This show is part of the Mamas in Music tour, funded in part by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs.
