Save your spot to join the State Historical Museum of Iowa’s Goldie’s Kids Club this fall for a very special storytime program held in Des Moines’ historic Owl’s Head neighborhood. Christine Guzzo Vickery, the author of Nighttime in Owl’s Head: A Bedtime Story, will give a reading of her book and lead a short walking tour of the neighborhood. Join us to hear about Persis, the barred owl, who takes 3 owlets on a tour of the neighborhood. At the end of the program, young historians can take home an activity kit to create their very own owl craft.

The program is free, but advance registration is required to attend this program. The program is intended for children ages 5-12 years old and limited to 15 families.
