The 48 Hour film project returns to Des Moines on July 29-31. Teams of filmmakers from all over Iowa will create a short film from scratch in just one weekend. The winner will receive a cash prize and go on to represent Des Moines at the International competition.  Project registration opens in May at www.48hourfilm.com/desmoines
